Refund Policy

Last updated: 1 May 2026

Free Trial

All new Professional plan accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No payment is required during the trial. You will only be charged if you choose to continue after the trial ends.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account's Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until then. We do not charge cancellation fees.

Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first payment for any paid plan. If you are not satisfied within the first 7 days of your first paid billing cycle, contact us at hello@govclara.com and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.

After the 7-day window, subscription payments are non-refundable. This applies to monthly renewals and plan upgrades.

If you experience a billing error (e.g. duplicate charge), contact us within 30 days and we will investigate and refund any erroneous charges promptly.

Downgrades

If you downgrade to a lower plan mid-cycle, the change takes effect at the next billing date. No partial refund is issued for the remaining days on the higher plan.

Service Outages

In the event of an extended service outage (more than 24 consecutive hours) caused by our infrastructure, we will apply a prorated credit to your next invoice. Credits are calculated based on the number of hours of downtime relative to the billing period.

How to Request a Refund

Email hello@govclara.com with your account email and a brief description of the reason. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days depending on your payment method.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our authorised Merchant of Record. Refunds will appear on your statement from Paddle.
